Most rewarded play apps are good -- and fulfill the promises they make. Some of our favorites like 5 surveys or Aven can even help you get through to your next payday if you're in a crunch. Unfortunately, not all pay for play apps are good -- a few will take advantage of you and never pay.
Here's our list of the worst rewarded play apps in 2025 -- and how they are trying to scam you and waste your time.
5 Worst Rewarded Play Apps in 2025 : Benjamin
The Benjamin app started out well -- we were easily able to withdraw back in March. The $25 withdrawal threshsold was a little high, but other that that there were few warning signs.
That great outlook changed in August, though.
Users were met with a message declaring cashouts were paused until December (4 months later). While restructuring can happen, the Benjamin app is holding funds that were already earned and forcing users to wait until December to (hopefully) cashout.
Even worse, Benjamin is actively encouraging users to keep playing -- and earning Benjamin money -- during this hiatus.
Our recommendation? Don't. Avoid this app. It is still actively listed in Google and promoting.
If you have money in the app, dont delete it until the December deadline, but don't count on those funds, either.
